We studied about two narrative devices that are often used in many movies are chronological (Linear) and non-chronological (Non-linear) and apply the knowledge in this analysis of the non-linear narrative of the movie "Last Night In Soho" directed by Edgar Wright.

The movie tells the story of a college student - Elouise when she accidentally rented a haunted room that brought her back to the 60s and relived the life of another girl named Sandie. The movie used a non-linear narrative - switching between the past and present to represent the two different lives of the two girls. I think the director Edgar Wright had done a wonderful job using this narrative to make the movie more intriguing and keep the audiences guessing.
