Our filming locations

After finishing the script and starting to plan for production, we had some ideas for where we should film at: For Khue’s bedrooom, we planned to rent an airbnb room for 1 day and for the party we planned to go to a karaoke place. These are some of the airbnb rooms and karaoke places we have considered going to:

But soon, we rejected the ideas because we wanted to cut down on production costs and having to rent and book rooms multiple times is not very convenient. Additionally, in order to make the room looks like what we wanted, it seems highly impossible to use an airbnb room since we would have to make alterations to their furniture arrangements and also splatter blood everywhere. Hence, we decided to use our own homes.

For Khue’s bedroom, we uses An’s bedroom in her vacation house in Quoc Oai. This is the location recce we made for the location:

An issue that we didn't take into account is that Quoc Oai is pretty far away from the city center, so having to bring big equipments with us to the location can be a little challenging. I've learned that transportation is also an important note that we have to put into the recce and I would remember to do that next time.
