This is an unplanned day we had to urgently add to our timeline to finish all the shots that had to be film in An's house. A funny reason behind this is that because we were very close to Lunar New Year at that time, we wanted to finish filming before the new year day so that we can clean the room and remove all the blood so that it wouldn't bring us any bad luck onto New Year =)) Nevertheless, I was very proud that we worked very efficiently on this day (we only had 1 morning) and the footages came out great!

  • As you can see, there's much more light on this second day, so we don't need to rely solely on the key light anymore but we can also utilize the natural sunlight to make the footages looks less obvious that we're using a studio light.

  • Not only is the ambient light lighting An's face better , it is also the motivated lighting to explain for the light on An's face (like I've noted on notion), hence make the scene appear more natural.

  • A problem with having sunlight however, is that it makes the blood we splashed on the curtain luminous, hence looked unreal. We tried to mitigate this problem by lowering the ISO in the camera setting but I think we would have to fix this in post-production.

  • Although, there was a logic mistake we made in the filming process: We chose to make the date of the party Friday the 16th. However, in a shot that shows a text Khue received, the date on the phone was shown as Thursday the 1st, which doesn't make sense since it should've been Saturday the 17th. So now we would have to work on covering the date up in post-production.

Other than having to pay more attention onto details and logics of the plot, the footage came out great so I'm still very proud of the team's progress!
